Life Starts NOW...

- The Blog -

Today is the first day of

the rest of your life…

Let that sink in for a moment…

The rest of your life starts NOW. In this very moment. And you get to decide what you want that to look like. You don’t have to “just take whatever life throws at you”. It doesn’t matter what life has looked like for you up until this moment. You get to choose what you want your life to look like from this point forward.

The insights I share in these blog posts are intended to inspire you to take your life off of "auto-pilot" and begin to live your life in a deliberate and intentional way.

Whether you have been divorced for some time now, or you are smack dab in the middle of navigating the early stages of the end of your marriage, or somewhere in between,  my desire is to allow you to feel seen, heard and supported every step of the way.

Even when life seems hard, we can make choices that take us one step closer to a life we can get excited about.

Let’s do this together…xo

Are you feeling lost and overwhelmed?

Each of the categories below will take you to a different collection of blog posts with insight on how to navigate separation and divorce, and beyond, based on the stage you find yourself in at this moment of your journey.

"I think my marriage is over..."

"I don't think I can do this anymore..."

When a close friend reaches out with something as heavy as the possibility of ending her marriage, my instinct is to hold space for her—to listen, to understand, and to offer guidance rooted in both love and honesty.

If my ...

Have you noticed how nature always provides the best metaphors for life?

Chances are, you caught the solar eclipse yesterday, and if you didn’t, you would have at the very least heard all about it in the days and weeks leading up to it.

Afterwards, as I reflected on the even...

Family.  You wouldn’t be who you are without your family of origin.  Good or bad.

Happy Mother's Day!
Here’s what my mama has taught me about being a mother...

We don’t have to give birth to someone to be their mom.

We don’t have to be perfect. In fact, we can legit mess up on a fairly regular basis and still have our kids turn into lovely human beings.

We love the best way

Learning To Appreciate Things Exactly As They Are

Something came to me this morning as I was journaling.

It has to do with focusing on what is right in front of me rather than looking for what is missing.

I pictured this elaborate meal laid out in front of me on this beautifully decorated table, and me sitting there thinking about a dish or so...

Everything Is A Choice

A full moon tonight!!

I wrote down some stuff I am desiring to let go of once and for all and I set it on fire!

I said a few words of gratitude and closure and I watched it reduced to ashes.

It felt good – really good.

I couldn’t help but feel that it really just comes down to making the cho...
